This line of Demetervin was started in the mid 2000’s to express Tokaj’s fresh, fruity, elegant face by natural sweet wine from late-harvested furmint, hárslevelű and muscat grapes, which carries all the values we love the wine region for. Joy is originally a concept wine, made for the establishment of young winemakers’ association Junibor, that seeked to reach people of the modern world with a World Heritage Region’s wine. Later it remained in our long term portfolio under the name Joy.
Now only 2020 vintage is available.
The Demetervin late harvest won the selection and was the official wine of the 52nd Eucharistic Congress held in Hungary, visited by Pope Francis. The wine had a special label for the event, and is available in Prímás Pince, Esztergom.
