Extra Brut

We have been experimenting with bottle-fermented, vintage, dry raw champagnes since 2003. The base wines were made from our own low-load furmint and linden-leaf plantations, so they carried the uniqueness of the Mádi volcanic soil, and with the traditional production we were able to show interest in an elegant form. The 2014 vintage Extra Brut, in collaboration with Chateau Vincent, is Demetervin’s first commercially available champagne. In the year of its debut, 2016, the winery’s first – and certainly only for a long time – single – 100% furmint base wine experiment was completed.
