On 23 September 2016, Demetervin Kft. Submitted a grant application to the Rural Development Program for the call entitled Support for Product Development and Resource Efficiency in Winery, code number VP3-4.2.2-16. The application received a positive assessment from the Managing Authority of the Rural Development Program on 29 November 2017, so the implementation of the investment started with a grant of HUF 14,168,815 from the EAFRD with 50% support.
The aim of the development is to increase the production capacity of the Demetrvin Winery and to modernize it technologically, which can ensure its smooth operation in the long run. As part of the technological modernization, berry picking, pumping, encapsulating, steam razor and barrel washing equipment will be procured to improve the quality of the wines. 3 refrigeration and heating tanks with a capacity of 10 hl and 1 with a capacity of 52 hl will be procured for the processing building, as well as 4 5 hl and 6 220 liter wooden barrels for barrel maturation. In order to increase the efficiency of material handling, a high fork lift will be purchased.
The expansion of the tank capacity requires the expansion and modernization of the cooling system, which includes the cooling-heating technologies required for fermentation for 8 tanks: the cooling-heating equipment, the pipeline network, automation, the tank control module, cooling-heating medium.
In order to be energy efficient, the technological spaces will be heated by infrared panels and the electricity needed to operate them will be provided by 10 kW solar panels mounted on the roof.
Cooling of the finished goods warehouse in a building separate from the processor will be built in order to ensure the guaranteed quality of the bottled wines stored here. The heat energy will be provided by a 12 kW heat pump.
